Wow this is the first time I have ever written a news segment for the front page but dang I having fun doing this. We want to take a few mins to welcome a few new Staff members to the FPS Radio Family.
Ron Butts AKA DJ Sylvester -- Ron is another good old boy from Georgia just like me. HE is bring a southern home grown feel to the overnights. His genre is Country and believe me when you here him talk you will know just how country the boy is. He is on the air from Midnight to 2 am est. We are looking forward to seeing what this brand new DJ will bring to FPS Radio
Alex East -- Alex is another old timer to internet radio having been around for about as long as I have. Alex well be bringing several different types of shows our favorite is:Eastie’s Pub Quiz is, as you may have guessed from it’s title is a show which is based on the British Pub Quiz format. It’s set in the fictional pub “The Queen’s Legs” and is a mixture of trivia, pop quizzes and great music. It already has a large and faithful following who have even set up a fan page for it on FaceBook. Alex covers the lunch hour monday through friday. Monda
Austin Prime and the Prime Krew.- Bringing alot of fun to the weekend mornings. Austin has been entertaining the web for over 6 years. He has been an internet radio personality for about 4 years. Austin has worked for a few large internet stations including Jammin 101, Radio Storm, Hits City, and FLY 104.9. He also is known as an audio technician. He has done work for weddings, college graduations, plays, bands, and churches. He will be brining fun and coolness to Saturday Mornings from 8 to 12 noon est. Enjoy

Financial Reasons: Some bad financial decisions were made with the company. We were counting on America’s Army to bring in the money we needed to pay for our boxes and then some. Unfortunately, a GSP cannot survive on AA alone and that’s something we found out too late. We lowered our prices in the Winter of 2009 to be more competitive and also to go with the theory of “More servers at less cost = more money” instead of “less servers at more cost = more money” and that simply isn’t a good idea, one that Primary Target has always understood and is the reason why they have been in business since 2002.
Personal: I personally cannot handle running a GSP on my own anymore. I have recently had a few visits with a doctor to exam some health issues I’ve been having and it’s coming down to stress as the cause. You might say, well what stress can there be? The stress of making bad business decisions and not being able to reverse them in a quick manner to bring the GSP back up to full speed and also the stress of running the whole business on my own.
What happens now? All CoLink Customers located in the UK will be staying on the server they are on currently on until the 20th and we will be working with each and everyone of you to get you moved into one of our new i7 servers. Your IP’s will change but we want to make sure each and everyone of you understand we are putting you on very superior servers and you will be able to rest assure you are with a company that has been in business for a very long time.
All CoLink Customers located in Chicago will have the option to move to Indiana, PA, Chicago, Atlanta or Tacoma Washington. We will be happy to work with each and everyone of you to see to it your transition is smooth and effortless for your team. IP’s will be changing and again I will say rest assure you are with a company that has been in business for a very long time and we hope you allow us to provide you your services.
All Colink Customers located in Dallas will have the option to move to Indiana, PA, Chicago, Atlanta or Tacoma Washington. Our Dallas location currently is going threw some upgrades and will be available in the near future but at this point we would need you to select a location from above.
